I wanted to let you know that I am participating in Tour DaVita this September to raise awareness about kidney disease. I need your support and encouragement!
Kidney disease is a serious problem that affects 20 million Americans. One in nine Americans actually has kidney disease, but few know it. I am among many people across the country riding in the event and raising funds for The Kidney TRUST. I support the TRUST’s mission of creating a world of hope, health, action and engagement for those affected by chronic kidney disease.
I'm hoping that you will be part of my support team. Any amount you can give will make a difference.
What can you do?
Give. Make a donation to my fundraising campaign by clicking on the button titled "Sponsor Me Now." If you prefer to write a check, please let me know, and I'll send you the information and form. On Tour DaVita website, you can also find out more on the importance of this event and and people that will be helped by the money and awareness we all raise.
Spread the Word. DaVita’s primary goal is to raise awareness about kidney disease. You can help by registering online with Tour DaVita, and setting up your own Fundraising Page. You can then send an email to your friends and family educating them about kidney disease, and giving them a chance to donate too.
